I fell off my bike a bit ago, possibly in front of some high school kids practicing tennis. The bad part is that I was at my old high school, but the good part is that I graduated so long ago that none of those kids would know me!
I have an excuse for not being able to get on my bike though, since my leg still hurts. I always stand on the left side of the bike and swing my right leg over. (It’s a habit from my horseback riding days since that’s how we are taught to get on a horse.) I tried to get on the bike this afternoon, but my leg didn’t make it over the frame, so I landed in the grass outside the school district office.
Yes, my leg still hurts. I still don’t know what I did to it. I’ve decided Justin can be blamed if my leg hurts, but everything else is Joel’s fault. It’s Justin’s fault if my leg hurts though, since he was the one going crazy praying for me last year. (Today is 8 months since the last time he prayed for me to be healed, and it also marks 8 months since I “met” Joel.) He prayed for me that last time, and I thought something was up. Then just three days later, my leg started hurting really bad like it does now. Therefore… it is Justin’s fault if my leg hurts.
I officially met Joel on December 9th, but I informally met him on October 9th when I sent a text to what I thought was Heidi’s cell phone, only to get a text back saying “Hey Kristin this is Joel.” Since I thought he was at least 30 and on staff at the young adult church, I was a bit embarrassed after receiving that text back. Turns out he was 23 and not on leadership at the young adult church. Ten months later, I now have his number memorized, and not sure I still know Heidi’s number.
